I am so excited about the 2 black eyed Siamese I picked up from you yesterday, H2R Cama Matchbox (male double Rex) and H2R Cama Maggie Mae (female). They are just stunning! Perfect selfs and wonderful Rex coats. And they are so funny and playful. Both are just simply amazing!

I am so glad that we could have done this co-breeding together.

I am looking forward to the American Blue Rex male that you are raising for me! Another co-breeding gone perfectly!!!

Your rats are so cute! Great photos! If I lived in Colorado I'd buy all my future rats from a nice place like yours. You're right about rat mills and petshops having lower quality sickly rats. I have bought 3 from my local pet shop, and one had some sort of respiratory infection when I bought her, and one suddenly died only 4 months old, even though I take very good care of my rats. I wonder if there is a good rat breeder here in California too, so I don't have to worry about purchasing another sick rat?

Your little ones are adorable, I'm glad I live in Pittsburgh or, between you and Amy I'd have 20 rats.

Karen,  Oh, what beautiful rats.

I wish we had the room and resources to get more H2R rats right now, but my husband set our limit at four rats!  We are simply loving our little Magnolia ("Maggie" born at H2R in July 2009).  When our "ratty friends" visit us, they comment on how beautiful she is (one friend said her coat looks like that of a gorgeous ermine!).  She is growing big and beautiful and fits right in with the other three girls we own.

Maggie started a bit shy but the shyness has turned into simply sweetness.  She has the most beautiful face and a sweet temperament to match.  I see her momma is available and if my husband hadn't said "four rats are enough!" I would sneak down there and get her as she is lovely too and I'm sure her personality is similar to Maggie's -- a real sweetheart!

We loved our visit to your rattery 6 weeks ago when we adopted Maggie.  It was nice and clean.  What happy rats you have -- all playful, friendly, and curious with plenty of room to play and lots of interesting things (hammocks, ledges, etc.) in the cages.  The rattery is clean, well-lit, and full of fresh air.  Karen, you must put a lot of time and energy into these little rats.  We can tell you love them and that this is not just a "business" but a real passion.

Maggie says hi to her old home and old rat (and people) friends.
